LAHAINA, Hawaii -- Jim Boeheim and Syracuse remained perfect in Maui. C.J. Fair scored 14 of his 24 points in the second half and No. 8 Syracuse beat No. 18 Baylor 74-67 on Wednesday night for the title. "We are figuring out how to make plays. Three nights in a row against good teams -- this was a really good tournament for us," Boeheim said. Jefferson led Baylor (6-1) with 15 points. Brady Heslip and Chery had 12 points each. "There is always room for improvement win or lose no matter what happens," Jefferson said. For the Internationals to make a game of this, theyll need to rely on the naivety of their rookies who, as Graham DeLaet pointed out this week, dont know what they dont know, and some exceptional play from the veterans such as Scott and Ernie Els. You never say never in a game like golf, but certainly this would be an upset of monumental proportions. While the odds may be long, the upside of a win would be ever-so sweet.
