The Indiana Pacers are bringing aboard another big body. ESPN reports that the Pacers are about to sign former All-Star forward Andrew Bynum. A two-time NBA Champion with the Los Angeles Lakers, Bynum has seen his career derailed by injuries. Traded as part of the four-way deal that brought Dwight Howard to the Lakers prior to the 2012-13 season, Bynum missed all of his only season with the Philadelphia 76ers with chronic knee injuries. After signing as a free agent with the Cleveland Cavaliers and struggling mightily, Bynum was dealt to the Chicago Bulls earlier this month for Luol Deng and was subsequently waived that same day. The ban will come into effect for Milans next match, against Udinese on Oct. 19. Milan was also fined (euro)50,000 ($68,000). A statement from the Serie A judge said Milan was punished because "several hundreds of its supporters, for some minutes before the start of the match and at the sixth and 43rd minutes of the second half, chanted an insulting chorus expressing territorial discrimination against supporters of another club." Milan immediately announced that it would appeal the decission, saying it "lacks justification.dddddddddddd" Juventus won the match 3-2, leaving Milan 13 points behind Serie A leader Roma in a tie for 12th with promoted Livorno. Serie A is handing out harsher punishments for fan racism and discrimination this season. Three other clubs -- Roma, Lazio and Inter Milan -- have had partial stadium bans for fan racism.
