MILAN, Italy -- Carlos Tevezs agent says a move to AC Milan is the Argentina strikers preferred option as he seeks to end a controversial spell at Manchester City, according to an Italian newspaper. "It was a constructive dialogue which left me feeling happy," Joorabchian was quoted as saying in an interview published Saturday in Gazzetta dello Sport. "Milan is the best solution at the moment, his first choice. Carlos wants to wear the Milan shirt." City manager Roberto Mancini has said that Tevezs decision to return to Argentina without permission had ended any hope the forward had of playing for the Premier League club again. Tevez has still not returned to Manchester and recently missed a scheduled meeting with the Premier League leaders to discuss his future. Mancini refused to answer questions about the matter in his weekly news conference Friday, emphatically stating, "I do not want to speak about Carlos Tevez." Tevez has not played since apparently refusing an instruction from Mancini to warm up during a Champions League game against Bayern Munich in September. City fined Tevez four weeks wages last month but was forced to halve it after Englands players union intervened. "In reality the problem is only with Mancini, not with the club," Joorabchian added. "Carlos has been clear with the club, the only consequence was a fine. "However, its obvious theyre interested in resolving the situation." Massimiliano Allegris team is not the only option in Italy for Tevez. Juventus is also said to be interested but a meeting with the players representatives on Friday was reportedly postponed. Inter Milan had an offer rejected by City in the summer according to Joorabchian. Inter coach Claudio Ranieri is remaining coy on whether the club is planning to renew its efforts in January. "Are you convinced Inter isnt interested in Tevez?" Ranieri said Saturday. "Ive aroused your suspicions now by saying that." Tevez is under contract with City until 2014. It will reportedly cost C4 million ($5.3 million) to take the 27-year-old forward on loan and a further C20 million ($26.5 million) to make the transfer permanent in the summer. A stumbling block could be the wages, with Tevez earning around C10 million ($13.2 million) a season at City. "I dont think problems should be talked about with his wages seeing as all big players earn high salaries," Joorabchian said. "However, we didnt talk about the economic aspect with Galliani." Milan is hunting for a striker, with Antonio Cassano set to miss the rest of the season as he recovers from heart surgery. Tevez, however, would not be eligible for the Champions League after featuring for City against Napoli at the beginning of the campaign. Tevez has long been linked with a move to Italy, despite the Argentina striker saying several times he wishes to return to South America to be closer to his family, including his two daughters who live with his wife in Buenos Aires. The 2009 recruit from Manchester United was Citys top scorer during its run to the FA Cup title last year that ended a 35-year trophy drought. However, the season was not without controversy for the City captain after he handed in a written transfer request in December, saying that his relationship with "certain executives and individuals at the club" was beyond repair. Tevez later retracted his request but seemed destined to leave the club during the summer. Despite saying he would not return to Manchester even for a holiday, he failed in his attempts to secure a transfer in the off-season back to Brazilian club Corinthians, which he left in 2006 to join West Ham. It looked like it was going to end up scoreless through one when Kings C Jeff Carter buried a 2-on-1 with Justin Williams, his wrist shot deflecting in off a sliding Dan Girardi with 0.7 seconds remaining in the first period. A backbreaking goal for a Rangers team already down two games in the series. With Rangers D Marc Staal in the penalty box, for high-sticking, Kings D Jake Muzzin scored a power play goal early in the second period to create some breathing room. Muzzins goal was on the power play, but was a wrist shot from just inside the blueline that deflected in off Rangers RW Martin St. Louis. Two goals on two attempted blocked shots and this left the Rangers, down a couple of goals, to press. Late in the second period, Kings C Mike Richards broke out on a 2-on-1 with RW Trevor Lewis, and after Rangers D Ryan McDonagh blocked Richards attempted pass, Richards found the puck back on his stick and finished it off to give the Kings a 3-0 lead. The proverbial dagger. The Rangers had many chances -- they outshot the Kings 17-8 in the second period, then 11-2 in the third, once the deficit was virtually insurmountable -- but they couldnt get the puck past Quick. His 32-save shutout was his best of a postseason that hasnt been Quicks best. Even with the Game Three shutout, Quick has a .910 save percentage in 24 games, but the Rangers best chance to pull off an upset in the series was going to be if Henrik Lundqvist outdueled Quick and that hasnt happened. In Game Three, the Kings won while registering a season-low 15 shots on goal. The playoff scoring race didnt see any change at the top, or at least similar change as Anze Kopitar, Jeff Carter, Justin Williams and Marian Gaborik each had a single point. Air Max 90 Print Orange. Kopitar leads the postseason with 26 points, two ahead of Carter and Williams, five ahead of Gaborik. Williams, making his late charge for the Conn Smythe, had six points (1 G, 5 A) in the series. There may not have been a better example of the Rangers frustration in Game Three than to see RW Rick Nash, who has just three goals in the playoffs, creating chances -- he had a game-high seven shot attempts -- but coming up empty at every turn. In one second period sequence, Nash attacked on the rush, was stopped by Quick, stayed on the puck, gathered control behind the Kings net and as he attempted a wrap-around, was hooked by Kings D Drew Doughty to prevent the goal. It was a smart play by Doughty in the moment and, given the Rangers power play struggles (2-for-30, 6.7% in the past seven games), it was sensible, even in desperation. Game Three was a fine example of why a team like the Rangers, the underdog coming in, couldnt afford to lose a pair of overtime games. Sure, the Rangers could have easily won one of the first two games in Los Angeles and come home even, but they didnt. Then, they had a game in which the bounces totally went in the Kings direction and, just like that, the series is 3-0 and that should be just about that. In 26 previous Stanley Cup Final series in which a team has taken a 3-0 lead, only the 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs managed to overcome the deficit. Thats what the Rangers are left with. Long, virtually impossible odds, in a series that (aside from the third period of Game One) they have played relatively even throughout. Maybe the Rangers deserved a better fate, but they are left needing a miracle and its pretty tough to count on miracles when the other guys are getting the bounces.
