(SportsNetwork.com) - The Toronto Maple Leafs shoot for victories on consecutive nights when they visit the Philadelphia Flyers tonight. You can watch the game on TSN and TSN Mobile TV at 7pm et/4pm pt and listen live on TSN Radio 1050 Toronto at 7:30pm et/4:30pm pt. Last night, Tyler Bozak scored the go-ahead goal while short-handed late in the second period to help the Leafs earn a 4-3 win over the Montreal Canadiens in the first game of the 2013-14 season. Mason Raymond tallied the eventual game-winner in the third period, while former Flyer James van Riemsdyk and Dion Phaneuf also notched goals for the Maple Leafs. Phil Kessel, signed to a lucrative eight-year contract extension earlier on Tuesday, recorded an assist on van Riemsdyks power-play marker. "Tonight our special teams were the difference in the game," said Maple Leafs head coach Randy Carlyle. "The short-handed goal turned everything in our favor." James Reimer made 34 saves to help Toronto fight back from a 2-1 deficit after the opening 20 minutes. Jonathan Bernier is expected to get the start on Wednesday after coming over from Los Angeles in an offseason trade. Bernier, who never has played a game in Philadelphia, was 9-3-1 with a 1.87 goals against average while spelling star goaltender Jonathan Quick in L.A. last season. The Flyers begin the season with returning to the postseason on their minds after the club had a string of five straight trips to the playoffs halted last spring. Philadelphia missed out on the postseason tournament by a margin of six points, finishing 10th in the Eastern Conference during the lockout- shortened campaign. Philadelphia is once again led on offense by captain Claude Giroux, who had a team-high 48 points in 48 games despite only scoring 13 goals. Winger Jakub Voracek led the team with a career-high 22 goals in 2013 and will be expected to build off that total over the course of a full season. Giroux and Voracek missed time during the preseason due to injuries, but Phillys top two offensive players are both ready to go for the season opener. The Flyers also enter 2013-14 without goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov or forward Daniel Briere, as the team used compliance buyouts to wipe out the contracts of both players last summer. With the controversial Bryzgalov gone, the Flyers will use the tandem of Ray Emery and Steve Mason in net this season. Philadelphia head coach Peter Laviolette has tabbed Mason to get the start in Wednesdays opener, but there isnt a clear-cut No. 1 between the two netminders at this stage of the season. The biggest addition for the Flyers since last season was the signing of Vincent Lecavalier to take the No. 2 centerman spot behind Giroux. Lecavalier, 33, was bought out by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the offseason before inking a five-year, $22.5 million contract to join Philadelphia. Lecavalier had 10 goals and 22 assists in 39 games for the Lightning last season and will try to get his Flyers career off to a good start on Wednesday. The 33-year-old has registered 52 points on 22 goals and 30 assists in 50 career games against the Maple Leafs. More recently, the Flyers signed big defenseman Hal Gill to a one-year deal after his successful professional try-out with the club in September. The 6- foot-7 Gill will be entering his 16th NHL season and offers depth and physicality at the back end. Toronto took two of three meetings against the Flyers last season, but Philly has won six of eight and 10 of the past 13 tilts in this series. The Leafs have also dropped seven of nine and eight of their last 11 games in the City of Brotherly Love. Wholesale Jerseys . After a lengthy wait, persistent rain finally forced the postponement of the Nationals game against the Miami Marlins on Saturday night. The teams, and a few thousand fans, waited nearly four hours from the 7:05 scheduled start time before an announcement was made shortly before 11 p. Cheap Jerseys From China . At a Manhattan federal court hearing, attorney Jordan Siev said his law office has gotten more evidence nearly every day to support its lawsuit accusing MLB and Selig of going on a "witch hunt" to ruin Rodriguezs reputation and career. He said the defendants went "way over the line.MILWAUKEE -- As last-second, game-winning 3-pointers go, this one wasnt the prettiest. But it got the job done, and thats the only thing that mattered to Mike Dunleavy and the Chicago Bulls. At this point, the Bulls will take whatever offence they can get. Dunleavy banked in a three-pointer with 5.8 seconds left and Joakim Noah came up with a block on the other end, leading the Bulls to a 91-90 comeback victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night. Dunleavy said he had to change the angle of his shot to avoid the reach of his defender, 6-foot-11 forward John Henson. "Hes so long so if I would have shot my normal shot, he might have got a piece of it," Dunleavy said. "So basically what Im saying is, I took a bad shot and it went in." Trailing by two in the final seconds, Chicago came up with a tie-up on the defensive end and won the jump ball, allowing Dunleavy to hit a high-arching 3 that banged off the glass, then in, for the lead. Noah then blocked O.J. Mayos shot to preserve the lead -- and a victory that appeared unlikely just seconds before. "You could see his rhythm coming offensively," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said of Noah. "Defensively, hes been terrific from the start of the season but offensively, you can see his timing is back." Noah scored 21 points and grabbed 18 rebounds -- both season highs -- for the Bulls, who ended a three-game losing streak. Chicago scored fewer than 80 points in all three of those losses -- including one to Milwaukee in Chicago on Tuesday. Jimmy Butler scored 16 points in his return from injury for Chicago. "I felt all right," Butler said. "Rusty. Out of shape. Terrible. But Im glad my guys pulled this win out." Carlos Boozer scored 14 points and added 12 rebounds. Gary Neal scored 17 points and Henson added 15 for the Bucks, who appeared to have the game won when Khris Middleton hit a desperation shot with 29.8 seconds left. Instead, it was another disappointment. "It wasnt even really supposed to get to that point, but we made some mistakes, critical mistakes, and thats what happens," Henson said. And to make matters worse for the Bucks, a crowd filled with travelling Bulls fans made it sound like a home game at times for Chicago -- especially at the end, when Dunleavys shot set off a thunderous ovation.dddddddddddd Thats not a new phenomenon when the Bulls visit Milwaukee -- but to Henson, it is somewhat annoying. "A little bit, man," Henson said. "But, hey, theyre an hour away. It was a Bulls crowd." Milwaukee went on a 12-4 run to take an 11-point lead with 7:37 remaining. The Bulls chipped away at the lead, but Henson passed to a wide-open Ekpe Udoh on the baseline and Udoh delivered an emphatic dunk for an 88-83 lead with 1:30 left. Mayo then fouled Dunleavy on a three-point attempt, and Dunleavy hit all three free throws to cut the lead to two. After a Milwaukee miss, Boozer made a game-tying jumper with 54.9 seconds left. Middleton then hit a desperation shot with the clock running out, giving Milwaukee a two-point lead. Butler was called for travelling on the other end and the game appeared to be all but over -- but it was only setting the stage for Dunleavys big moment. "He hit a tough shot," Bucks coach Larry Drew said. "It wasnt an easy shot. It was a contested shot. But Ill say it again: It should not have come down it (that). We were in position where we should have closed that game out." While Derrick Roses season-ending knee injury has garnered the most attention, it hasnt been the only critical injury for Chicago this season. Butler missed 11 games because of a toe injury and the Bulls are still without Luol Deng, who remains sidelined with a sore left Achilles. Chicago added some depth earlier in the day Friday, signing free agent guard D.J. Augustin. Augustin was scoreless in 11-plus minutes in his Bulls debut. NOTES: Drew said guard/forward Carlos Delfino will have surgery on his right foot in his native Argentina on Saturday. There is no timeline for his return. . Larry Sanders has been fitted with a protective glove and cleared to resume some basketball activities, but there is no timeline for his return from a thumb injury. ... Thibodeau said Deng is feeling better and could be available for Saturdays game.
