MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Twins have released Canadian left-hander Andrew Albers, allowing him to sign with a South Korean team. The Twins announced Thursday the 28-year-old Albers cleared waivers. He will join the Hanwha Eagles of the Korea Baseball Organization.
